Goodbye Oreo

Emily's hamster was sick over the last few days, and no one at my house could figure out why. So my mom and sister took her to the vet and found out she had diarrhea! Yikes. I guess she has actually had it for a really long time though, meaning petsmart sold Emily a sick hamster. Anyway Oreo had a 50/50 chance of surviving, and after spending a couple of nights of intensive care at the Vets office she passed away. Emily is apparently really sad, poor thing. Tonight at my house my family is having a little burial in the backyard for little Oreo. Which seems like something you would do with younger kids, but that's ok, it's a good way for Emily to say good bye.
